BlocCotton is a lightweight, breathable and washable EMF shielding fabric, composed of 46% silver fiber and 54% cotton. It is the fabric our BlocCotton sleeping bags are made from.

45 to 54 dB from 30 MHz to 10 GHz: 52.6 dB at 915 MHz, 51 dB at 2.45 GHz (2.4 GHz WiFi) and 49.5 dB at 5 GHz (5 GHz WiFi). Every 10 dB is a tenfold reduction in signal power, so 50 dB blocks 99.999% of the signal power at that frequency. See the Specifications tab for the full table.

Yes. It provides about 51 dB at 2.45 GHz and 49.5 dB at 5 GHz (the WiFi bands), 52.6 dB at 915 MHz (a common cell and smart meter band), and 47.5 dB at 8 GHz. The tested range ends at 10 GHz, so millimeter wave 5G (24 GHz and above) is outside it. For tested shielding up to 40 GHz, choose BlocSilver®, which provides 36 dB at 40 GHz.

It is 59 inches (150 cm) wide and sold in 3.25 ft (1 m), 5 ft (1.5 m) and 10 ft (3 m) lengths.

Your order is cut as one continuous length, not as separate pieces. If you need a longer length, increase the quantity in your basket. For example, a quantity of 3 of the 10 ft length arrives as one continuous 30 ft (9 m) piece.
