A More Affordable Four Poster EMF Canopy

The BlocSilver® Four Poster EMF Bed Canopy, Low Frame is built from the same BlocSilver® shielding fabric as our Regular Frame canopy, with the same shielding performance. The difference is the frame: at 4.9 feet tall, it is shorter than our 6.5 ft Regular Frame, which lets us offer it at a lower price for anyone who wants a complete EMF bed canopy on a tighter budget. It is made to reduce the RF signals from WiFi routers, cell towers, smart meters and 5G reaching you while you sleep, and it is fully portable for hotel stays and visits to friends or family. Complete With Frame, Set Up in 15 Minutes

The easy-assemble metal frame is included, so there is nothing else to buy to get started. It needs no hooks, screws or fixings into your floor or ceiling, so there is no mess and no damage to your room. Most people are set up in around 15 minutes.

Breathable Fabric for Comfortable Sleep

The canopy is made from breathable fabrics, so you get shielding without the stuffy feeling of a sealed enclosure.

Shielding Performance

BlocSilver® provides 36 dB of shielding at 40 GHz, which covers the high-frequency millimeter wave range used by 5G. At lower frequencies, including the WiFi and cell phone bands, attenuation is higher, at around 45 to 50 dB. Decibels are a logarithmic scale: every 10 dB is a tenfold reduction in signal power, so 36 dB means more than 99.9% of the signal power at that frequency is blocked.

30 MHz to 1.5 GHz measured per ASTM D4935-18 / GB/T 30142-2013. 2.45 GHz to 40 GHz reflect internal measurements.

Choosing Your Size

Canopy sizes are based on your mattress dimensions and are available in Twin, Full, Queen, California King and King. Please measure your bed frame before ordering. If your bed frame extends beyond the length and width of the mattress, for example a Full mattress in a wooden frame that is larger than the mattress, you will likely need to order the Queen size.

Do You Need a Bed Mat?

It depends on which floor you sleep on. BlocSilver® is conductive, so on the ground floor the canopy on its own creates a Faraday cage around your bed. If you sleep above ground level, signals can also reach you from below, so add an EMF/RF bed mat under your mattress to complete the enclosure.

About Silver Fabric and Discoloration

Silver products discolor over time, which is normal, and can be stained from the factory. If you cannot accept discoloration, please consider a Swiss Shield® canopy instead.

Low Frame or Regular Frame?

Both canopies use the same BlocSilver® fabric and offer the same shielding. The Regular Frame (6.5ft) is our most popular canopy and gives you a taller enclosure. This Low Frame (4.9ft) canopy is the more affordable option.

Grounding

This canopy needs to be grounded. An EMF Canopy Grounding Kit is included free of charge.

Care and Washing

BlocSilver® can last up to 40 washes while still maintaining its shielding properties, if it is washed according to these instructions. Washing will eventually degrade any fabric containing silver fibers and reduce its shielding performance, so wash only when you need to. The fabric is encased in an antioxidant coating and can be spot cleaned or wiped down with a damp rag.

• Use Texcare or a pH neutral detergent to help protect the silver.
• Gently hand wash with cooled boiled water or mineral water, especially in high chlorine areas. You can also machine wash on a gentle cycle with cool water.
• Hang dry indoors only, and keep the fabric away from direct sunlight to prevent silver oxidation.
• Avoid use in high-salt or sulfide air conditions.
• Do not use oils, bleach or any chlorine-based detergent, and do not iron or dry-clean.

Test your tap water first. Poor water quality damages the silver in the fabric. Sulfur, high fluoride and low pH react strongly with silver and can destroy conductivity and shielding performance. Before washing, test your water on a small fabric swatch:

1. Soak a small swatch in tap water for 1 hour.
2. Look for a color change in the water or swatch, especially blackening.
3. Air-dry the swatch and check its conductivity by touching an ohm meter to two points on the fabric.
4. If the color changes or conductivity is lost, do not use tap water to wash or rinse the fabric. Use distilled, deionized or reverse osmosis water instead.
